Right I am having some serious problems comenting on blogs its not worjking! #screams silently# I think I've been spending too much time with my bff. We reallised today that we have been officially best friends for 10 years now! Thats well over half of my life. Still you can't beat your bff. They know you better than you know yourself. Well if you have a bff like me you do. So Of course to celebrate our 10 years of Friendship we're having a party. Any excuse I know. Anyway if you do one thing today, tell your bff how amazing they are.
Yeah she made me write all that.
moving on I was reading a really good poem today by Thomas Hardy. He's quite famous but you probably haven't read this one unless you've read The Notebook Poems. Its un-named but I really liked it. Reminded me of an ex of mine but you'll probably read it and not be moved at all.
You shall not despair
because I have forsaken you
or cast your love aside
There is a greater love than mine
Which can comfort you
And touch you with softer hands
I am no longer;
Friendly and beautiful to you
Your body cannot gladen me,
Nor, the splendour of your dark hair,
But I do not humiliate you
You shall be taken yet again
and soothed with soft tears
You will be loved enough
Sad as it is I wanted to share it because I loved it and if I didn't do it now I might forget it. However poetry's pretty personal, some love it some hate it. I don't mind which you are. So yeah Non-official bff day! Anyone got plans for halloween?

Did you know?
Did you know the Tongue of a blue whale is as long as an elephant and sound travels through water three times faster than air. I'm watching Qi xl which isn't surprising if you know me. It's the episode with Professor Brian Cox in it if you've seen it. I like him, not because he's good looking but he really seems enthusiastic about physics. I preferred Chemistry personally. He is a physics professor isn't he? I love weird facts like did you know there are more tv sets in the USA than people in Britain? When you consider the fact Madonna used to work in Dunkin' Donuts there is hope for us all!

needing freedom
Music for me isn't just about the beat its about the words. Sometimes a song can explain how you feel better than any words can or say what your not brave enough to say. I've been looking for a song for the last two hours that describes how I feel and this is the closest I got. It was the vulnerability of this one that got to me. Like she was really baring her soul you know. You can always tell when a songs just words and when it has meaning. I also liked let me go by 3 doors down so that's worth a listen as well. To me it talks about feeling trapped and needing to get out in order to find themselves. Of loving the one who is hurting you but knowing its not good for you. Also about escaping it all. So today's blog is just a musical shout out to anyone who's ever felt that way about a relationship.

one man, one mission, no chance
Rowan Atkinson= brilliant. Pretty simple. Mr Bean is back in Johnny English reborn. I confess I have never actually seen the first, (Stuart was horrified when I told him) Its been out for quite a while and yes its a children's movie but luckily me and my friends have no self respect so we had no problem booking tickets along with the rest of the 8 and 9 year olds going. Its good that Rowan Atkinson apparently doesn't have much self respect either. It was actually pretty good though. Rowan Atkinson has a way of just making things funny. He could be saying anything and it would be funny. The movie itself was perfectly balanced between Just ridiculous and comically brilliant. Definitely on the right side of the line though.Couldn't pick a favourite moment but I did like the "master of disguise" body bag scene. Only thing i didn't like was the ending from the point where For anyone who hasn't heard of it its catch line pretty much sums it up perfectly,

hot, hot hot
Me and my Friend were having an argument today. We are litterally always arguing but i love him really. We're like siblings, were not happy unless we're arguing. Today our argument was over guys, not unusual for us. Who do you think is hotter David Tennant or Noah Wyle?
David Tennant Vs Noah Wyle
I guess David Tennant does photograph better than Noah Wyle. Moving on has anybody ever heard of The website, the nextBRITthing? A local band from my school are entering and they are brilliant. I'm not just saying that cause I sorta know them. Or at least I feel like I do I've heard so much about them from friends of mine who do know them!
here's a link to their homepage you should check it out as it gives young bands a voice. My friends are called Voracity by the way but there is a bunch of amazing bands on the site

bacteria or bacterium?
Do you know what the difference between bacteria and bacterium? There isn't one! Bacteria is the plural of bacterium. I'm studying the bacteria Bartonella quintana right now. It used to be called bartonella rochalimae. It's the cause of trench fever. Quintana means reccurs every five days which was a symptom of Trench fever. Its also very closely related to Bartonella henselae which causes cat-scratch disease. Bet you didn't know that! You probably didn't care either!
While I'm on little known things that interest me have you heard of Alice in Wonderland syndrome? Lovely name, an often terrifying syndrome. Alice in Wonderland syndrome usually effects children with a lot of adults claiming to have grown out of it during their teenage years. Alice in wonderland syndrome (or AIWS) is a neurological condition where the sufferer experiences a distorted view of reality. One of the most common symptoms and the one that gave it its name is the alteration of body perception. Really just a fancy way of saying parts of them seem wrong or distorted for example a sufferer might feel like they're head is growing up to four times its normal height even though they know it can't be. Time can also be distorted as well as the size, shape of objects etc around them. It can be confusing and scary for people with the disorder. I don't actually have it though!
You know there is some speculation that Lewis Carol based Alice in wonderland on his own experience of the syndrome and he was also a sufferer.
Guess that sounds a bit depressing actually when you write it all down! I'll try and make tomorrows entry a little cheerier!

Chilli fudge and rusty halo's
Never done this before so I hope it works! Usually I would attempt to find some small, unusual
little known but brilliant band for your amusemant but I couldn't think of one. Yes I was met with a blank. However I think I have an idea for tomorrow so don't fear! The Script are good though in thier defense. Just a little mainstream. Yeah I hate pop, electronicy dance rubbish. I just don't see the point!
On a completly Un-related note I made chilli fudge. Epically awesome fudge. Yet really simple. I Should have taken in process photos but I didn't. Next time.
Well I made it with 500g of mixed dark chocolate (milk is fine but put in less chillie poweder), a whole can of condensed milk, 30g of butter,1 tsp of cinnamon,2 tbsp of chilli poweder, and not even a pinch of salt. Melt all the chocolate and butter. Mix it all together and lesve to set in the fridge. Simple but amazingly good. I hope someone actually follows this recipe I feel like a chef talking to midair!
I get to see my baby cousin for the first time tomorrow. Have to say I can't wait! Its a shame babies hate me. Last baby I was anywhere near threw a cup at my head...
night x
